VARIANTS
point to point
wanted to make a strangely unique muff- this one sounds nothing like any other muff I have ever heard.
it features a very unique 8 position rotary switch, that allows the frequencies to either open up- or become choked. The result is a wide range of sounds from top forward bite that has tighter gain, all the way to a blown out, bassy and full wall of fuzz.
With a clipping toggle as well that goes from stock to more compressed to blown out loud AF unlimited distortion, you can get far more sounds than a standard muff ever could.
changing the clipping diodes creates varying thresholds that affect dynamics (how a circuit feels in the hands and reacts to the guitars nuances) and the volume, and gain structure/saturation texture.
it is not an elegant, artful point to point build. It is chaotic- as the sound, but indeed is very functional.
Twilight Muff –
the twilight muff is a spiritual endeavor of summoning electricity to be animated and alive.
somehow, each twilight muff ends up sounding completely unique. The twilight really manifests with these- each one is a different doorway to another world of 4 transistor universe.
modified gain stages, this pedal delivers a greater output and saturation, making sure your listeners can not only hear what you are playing, but feel it as well.
3 clipping modes via the toggle allow for different flavors that greatly affect multiple characteristics of the sound
stock- that lovely sound we all know and love with that harsh edge and gritty attack.
vintage- a type of silicon diode that was selected and tested to closely emulate germanium diodes. More of a compressed sound, with lower output and a hi cut. Smooths the saturation out, and has its own special timbre.
No diodes- just pure chaotic output. maximum amplitude, this mode has no boundaries and will destroy everything in its path.
built to actually shift your present plane of existence into another world.
COLORS-
Please note that the raw aluminum finish option is built fresh to order, and may feature different components as I use what I have in stock and each build uses hand selected components.
The circuit will be built in a raw aluminum case with no paint, but will get lightly sand polished.
It may take up to 10 days for me to build the pedal, but typically it will be anywhere from 3-5 days.
