Twilight Electronics seeks to manifest sounds from alternative dimensions and mystical realms that align your soul to pour itself into the sound.

I live in a weird middle ground between the material reality and the higher planes of existence, constantly skipping between timelines and worlds of possibilities.

I am Twilight and I dedicate my existence to the advancement of sound and music. 

At 24 years old, I spend my time experimenting with these sounds, always searching, always improving, and never settling.

Every single stompbox will be made with strong, positive intention, and blessed with the stardust of the universe. Nothing will ever be listed on my store unless I believe in it. Nothing will leave my shop unless it is the absolute best it can possibly be and that is my promise to you.

Acquiring one of my pieces is more than buying a pedal. You are stepping into my world where magic is real, and harnessable. You are stepping into the twilight...

 

every pedal is an authentic representation of my journey here on earth and the lessons each circuit has taught me as I aim to master and learn its secrets.

 

Living in the heart of Los Angeles, there is some chaotic and beautiful energy, that is transmuted into these pieces, and influences my thought process.

I do everything, as a one man shop, in the hills of Echo Park, Los Angeles, California, United States.

 

QUALITY CONTROL

please understand that these are handmade- certain paints are more prone to blemishes out of my control. I am not perfect, please do not expect perfect, 100% blemish free powder coat finishes. That said, most won't ever really notice any cosmetic blemishes unless specified in the listing. I experiment with colors and painting techniques and there will be variances in finishes from pedal to pedal.  Electronically and mechanically everything is always tested and engineered to last.

B stock are pedals that are more than reasonably cosmetically blemished, these are listed at a discount.

All pedals are ALWAYS inspected, and tested as functioning before being shipped.

USER INFORMATION

My pedals are not wired for use with internal batteries, only by an external DC power supply. If requested, I can possibly make custom pedals that fit batteries but you must contact me first.

All pedals are center negative 9v unless stated. Never use anything over 9v unless explicitly stated as you can blow very important semiconductors.

Never assume a pedal can safely run 18v.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK THE VOLTAGE OUTPUT OF YOUR POWER SUPPLY BEFORE PLUGGING IN A PEDAL FOR THE FIRST TIME

Many power supplies have 9v-18v switches that can easily get knocked into 18v by mistake.

PEDAL NOISE

I have had a few complaints about excessive noise that were fixed promptly with the introduction of a proper, isolated and filtered power supply. Wall warts are always hit or miss (usually miss).

Daisy chaining power supplies can introduce a lot of extra noise, especially if you have digital pedals in your chain.

Don’t daisy chain if you want to prevent noise.

A lot of cheap wall DC power supplies from Amazon, operate in an audible frequency, so when a pedal is engaged, there is a high frequency whine squeal.

I know not everyone is able to afford a proper power supply right away, but it really makes a difference with noise performance. If you’re going to get a more financial friendly power supply, make sure to get one that is specifically for instrument/pedal purposes, as they are usually designed to operate at non audible frequencies. Generic DC adapters are not.

Also always ensure all guitar electronics are plugged into a single wall outlet, via a power strip or similar. Routing into multiple wall outlets can cause ground loops and noise.

I will ALWAYS take care of anyone apart of the twilight family. I often repair/maintain pedals for free, with shipping covered on the house (depending on the circumstances) or for only the cost of shipping.

If something prematurely fails, please reach out and I will get it sorted out promptly, and to the best of my abilities.

Communication is key! Do not be afraid to ask questions.

I wish I could offer returns, but I find that when people have that option, they become far too quick to judge a stompbox. Far too often we give first impressions far too much weight with music related things. Spending time with things can reveal the beauty that many become blinded to as a result of initial expectations.

I am also a singular person that spends 10-14 hour days to make a living doing this. I do not make any income elsewhere, and have to care of bills- so every purchase means the world and buys me time to create further.

There really are no off days, and that is okay. I have the passion and genuinely love making peoples dream sounds. When you sound good, you feel good, and you flow good.

For the amount of work that goes into every single piece, my creations are very fairly priced. There is an extreme amount of unseen work that happens to make the final creation happen.

Your support is helping a fire grow larger and larger. To this day this whole thing has gone so much further than I could have ever imagined. You allow me to help and support other artists, and also the freedom to experiment and take my time to create truly special things.
