Just bat shit loud, signal amplification. Straight up- this is the loudest and most in your face, absolutely massive sounding dirtbox I have in the store.

It wants to actually blow up your amplifier.

This circuit is a twilight bent Acapulco Gold style circuit- which in itself, is a dual cascaded audio amplifier distortion unit. Key word- AUDIO amplifier. This does not utilize your typical op amps for its gain, it uses actual audio amplifiers meant to drive small speakers, and or headphones. It is loud enough that you can plug this into a cabinet and get sound!

So slamming your amp with already speaker loud signal, just absolutely mangles your sound and drives it into overloaded purely op amp distortion.

So, with the twilight version, here whats unique

• High grade audio amplifier chips- not every LM386 is the same. I choose the highest headroom variants for the most crushing, massive sound possible.
