The Op Amp muff has quite a bit more clarity and a more refined sound, a bit less muddy but still aggressive and massive like its brother.

The mode toggle bypasses the tone control section for a neutral sounding fuzz for bass players or for those who want their guitars natural character to shine through this circuit.

A great way to achieve the smashing pumpkins tone.

The super fuzz side is a vintage octave up fuzz, a recreation of the offering by Univox. These pedals consistently sell for an upwards of $500 these days, they are highly sought after, and known as a more gainy, less noisy version of the Octavia circuit.

This pedals octave up effect creates a very interesting metallic clang in the higher frequencies and creates some really odd harmonies depending on the chord tones.

Tweaking your guitars volume and tone control can interact with the octave up for different textures and dynamic responses.

Personally it is my favorite vintage fuzz circuit by far and is the basis of many of my favorite modern fuzz pedals. This circuit truly is a great example of what an Octave Up Fuzz should be.

You can purchase the pedal that is in the picture, or you can choose to buy one with no paint that I will make fresh for you at a lower cost. It will come in a raw, unpainted, lightly polished aluminum enclosure. Please note that since these are made fresh, it normally will take 3-7 days for it to be built, at the very most 2 weeks.
