THE TWO RAT PI ARE DISCOUNTED BECAUSE I DID A LOT OF REWORKING ON THE INSIDES TO PROTOTYPE THE BEST VERSION. BOTH ARE THE FINISHED PRODUCT BUT SHOW SIGNS OF MODIFICATION BY ME INTERNALLY. The paintjobs also were powder coat experiments and came out rather, chaotic.

these are generously discounted and flat out, steals of deals.

The Deluxe version includes soft touch, no click bypass, premium components, a 3 way clipping for distortion, OD, and clean boost style modes, and a mode toggle that switches between stock, and doom modes. In doom mode theres an additional gain stage for further saturation. In this mode this pedal gets a far more muff like saturation, and becomes an instant doom machine that will turn any amp into a roaring beast.

This pedal is what happens when you mash a rat distortion and clipping stage with a big muff tone and recovery stage. The rat in itself features only a low pass filter for a tone control, while the muff style tone control blends between a high pass or low pass filter.

It has that big muff frequency filter- with the clarity and more distortion like saturation of the rat. Much more refined, less muddy, and a bit more predictable. This pedal also shines with its low gain settings, unlike a normal muff, the lower gain ranges of this pedal clean up really nice with minimal fuzziness. With the gain turned low, you can get some clean boost or light overdrive sounds out of it.

Typically in a muff, even with the sustained turned all the way down, your tone still is crunchy and fizzy.

This is one of those circuits that does the "everything from clean boost to fuzz" thing really well.

This pedal can run at 18v if you want a higher headroom drive for that 3D, higher amplitude, louder style sound.

Please note that because of the experimental nature of mashing two circuits together, there may be a strange fizzle when all the tone knob is maxed out to the treble side, especially if the gain and volume are high.

COLORS-

Please note that the raw aluminum finish option is built fresh to order, and may feature different components as I use what I have in stock and each build uses hand selected components.

The circuit will be built in a raw aluminum case with no paint, but will get lightly sand polished.

It may take up to 10 days for me to build the pedal, but typically it will be anywhere from 3-5 days.

I will use my choice of knobs in stock.
