Plague + Twilight Screamer + FZ2

When I designed this pedal, I sought out to create the ultimate, desert island drive pedal. One that would cover all the flavors of dirt.

Its a boost, fuzz, distortion, overdrive all in one box.

The Plague is my signature distortion circuit. I designed it for maximum clarity, but also high gain and aggressiveness. I always found that when playing with fuzzes, I love fuzz for when I need wall of sound or more textured sounds, but it really lacked clarity for tight, precision applications. This is the kind of circuit that you need for when you have a stupidly heavy riff, that needs to be accentuated and heard, and not masked by a wall of vibration.

The Plague is a tight, chugging, mean distortion with a relatively low noise floor.

Your riffs are pleasantly highlighted, and not drowned out in saturation. Every note is clear as day, while also having a very rich, thump, thick, fullness that overdrive pedals lack.

The next circuit is the Twilight Screamer. it started its life as a tube screamer, but got modded like crazy.

Sometimes, I love the super glassy, thin, ice pick sounding treble overdrive sounds . It just sounds sweet and, glassy. That’s why I added the bright toggle, so you can get a darker and fuller, or brighter and glassier sound.

There is also the fat toggle. This takes the drive from clean boost/mild overdrive territory, to medium gain, thicker distortion. Honestly, the most useful switch is you get two completely different gain modes with this.

Lastly, there is a clipping toggle. One mode is much more open, less compressed, and loud. The other is more compressed, quieter, with a smoother edge to it. It heavily affects the dynamics of the circuit as well.

The last circuit of the bunch, is a stock boss FZ2. Honestly this circuit is pretty perfect as is. I’ve modded it a bunch in other pedals, but stock is pretty damn amazing.

In my opinion, this is the BEST fuzz pedal to have ever been invented.

You can use this pedal as a boost. All the controls are useable in boost mode, in the behringer version only the gain knob works in boost mode, but in my version, the bass, treb, gain, and volume controls all function.

You can purchase the pedal that is in the picture, or you can choose to buy one with no paint that I will make fresh for you at a lower cost. It will come in a raw, unpainted, lightly polished aluminum enclosure. Please note that since these are made fresh, it normally will take 3-7 days for it to be built, at the very most 2 weeks.
