No hay banda. It is all an illusion.

In the neon twilight of the Hollywood Hills, an individual chases a dream. The Mulholland Drive is the soundtrack to that midnight journey of mystic and surreal events. Warm, full-bodied tones with a glassy edge light up the darkness.

Cinematic and mysterious, it’s a dual overdrive steeped in noir intrigue and the shadowy glamour of Los Angeles at night. For discerning tone chasers, the Mulholland Drive Overdrive blurs the line between reality and dream.

Now that we have landed back in reality, let us dive a bit deeper.

This was the ultimate twilight engineering experiment to pack two iconic, versatile drives twisted in the usual twilight manner, blurring the line between distortion, overdrive, and fuzz.

The top 3 set of controls is for the glass shard, which in itself is a masterfully retuned variant of the iconic "K" style overdrive. This circuit is one of the best choices for when you need to add an extra dimension of depth to your sound, due to its high headroom and minimal compression sound. This circuit also lets in an exorbitant amount of high end, with the frequency shaping really shining in the high end glassiness. This circuit here, will make your guitar sing.

The left two toggles also coincide with the glass shard side of this pedal. The clip switches between modern silicon clipping, and silicon with characteristics that strongly emulate germanium diodes, without the downsides. This toggle is extremely subtle, and the gain needs to be up quite a ways to hear a difference, as there is a signal threshold that activates the diodes.

The modern silicon will allow a touch more high end in, and slightly less compression.

The vintage voiced silicon will cut a little high end, round out the sound, and add a touch of compression.

The Mode switch- is the cherry on top. It adds a big muff voicing- yes, a big muff voicing to this overdrive, to transform the circuit from a precise, high headroom, clear overdrive, to a fuzzy, heavily saturated and less linear dirt.

Now, for the other side. The bottom four knobs control the Tommy Gun side, which is a twilightified Timmy MK3/Vemuram Jan Ray style OD.

This side has a much fuller and thick tone than the glass shard side, and generally prefers to be higher gain. This circuit can be pushed into distortion territory depending on where the mode toggle is set to.

The mode toggle selects between 3 ranges of gain, one will be lower gain, better suited for transparent and cleaner sounds, one will have a touch more grit with a mild mid/high boost, and one mode will be the grittiest, having a boost on the mid low frequency for fat AF sounds.

The clip is 3 way, allowing for 3 unique voicings.

Stock Silicon- the classic sound most people are used to, this will sound the most tube screamer like. A touch compressed, and grittier.

Vintage Voiced Silicon- Chokes the hell out of the sound for a very interesting compressed drive that cuts signal significantly, offering a very unique and moody sound texture.

No diodes- wide open, clean, high headroom sound. At pushed settings, it overloads the op amps for very chaotic saturation. Very loud and transparent.

Lastly, these pedals are all fitted with true bypass, no click, soft touch, silent relay based switching. This is truly one of the best switching experiences available today. Makes activating pedals much more quiet!
