The V3 come my fuzznatics... FZ2 fuzz variant and a Russian muff in one box.
The right side circuit features the classic core tone of the FZ2, with the addition of the come my fuzznatics mod which is a blendable green ringer stage into the inherent octave that is a part of the FZ2 circuit. When the octave is dialed clockwise, it routes signal into two octave up stages cascading into each other, for the nastiest, most unpredictable, over the top thunderbolt metallic clang tone possible. Dialing the octave knob clockwise bypasses the green ringer, allowing for stock FZ2 octave and sound.
This circuit has some sort of magic to it. I am not sure how a fuzz can embody the deep mysteries, emptiness, vastness, and darkness of space, but it does just that.
With an ever evolving cascade of rich harmonies and thundering frequencies, this sound channels the powers of the great beyond.
The big muff side has the addition of the mids control mod, which works by controlling the amount of mid frequencies fed to the high pass filter of the tone control, it does not affect the low pass/counter clockwise side.
The muff side is modeled after a russian style muff.
It also has 3 way clipping configured, very necessary to get the muff into completely new territories.
left- stock silicon, has that classic gritty edge and response that we know and love of the big muff
right-vintage - smooth out the highs quite a lot, and give a much more compressed saturation, and choke the output a bit.
middle- diode lift, no diodes. Super blown out, wide open, aggressive sound. The least compressed mode that is louder, with more chaos and unpredictability.
Experience two fuzzes that work in harmony- as individuals with their own sets of strengths.
