Meleketus

Meleketus is a dual dirt blender. It starts by routing your signal into two separate circuits, a FZ2 and a G4 style distortion.

The FZ2 is one of the most iconic octave fuzzes ever created, with its roots based around the univox super fuzz. It is souped up, and very versatile, and is responsible for an entire genre of music, and is the reason the most iconic doom band Electric Wizard sounds the way they do.

This circuit has 3 modes, mid scoop, mid boost, and clean boost, with each having its own world of sounds to explore.

This fuzz has an extremely thunderous like quality to it, it sounds like a thunder bolt of electricity is unleashed, with the intensity and nature being controlled by the guitar.

It has an unparalleled evolution of cascading frequencies, with some of the most rich and out of this world harmonics of any circuit out there.

It doesn't stop there. This circuit works well in a variety of applications, and at lower gain settings can get some beautiful vintage fuzz sounds. Dial it in right, and you can get that hendrix purple haze style sound.

Now, the G4 side is a modern voiced metal oriented distortion. This circuit is very versatile as well, having 3 modes for different styles of sounds and an active 3 band EQ, it is very amplifier like in its nature, and sounds like a cranked dirty channel.

This side excels in its clarity and precision for fast, technical, and brutal metal riffs. It excels at tightening up the muddy low end and loss of highs that happens with extremely low tuned guitars, and brings back that clarity with a proper low end thump.

It is highly comparable to my plague pedal, except this circuit is much more bright, and has less of a dark voice to it.

These two together are then sent into the blender, which you can mix however you please for very interesting results. This allows for a gorgeous sonic contrast and harmony between these two sides, and creates an entirely new realm of sounds available.

Please note that the raw aluminum finish option is built fresh to order, and may feature different components as I use what I have in stock and each build uses hand selected components.

The circuit will be built in a raw aluminum case with no paint, but will get lightly sand polished.

It may take up to 10 days for me to build the pedal, but typically it will be anywhere from 3-5 days.
