We all know when Jerry used the Mutron, it was time to strap in for psychedelic takeoff.

This is a modern, expanded take on that iconic auto-filter, inspired by the Mutron III but in twilight manner- expanding the possibilities of what it can do. It’s a filter playground where every knob and toggle allows total control over your parameters.

If you’ve ever played with analog autofilters, you know they can be hard to dial in. Machines that shift with every change in your instrument, touch, or volume. But the Jerrytron isn’t like that. It’s a beautifully forgiving platform that seems to dance effortlessly with whatever instrument you plug in. Whether it’s guitar, bass, synth, or something stranger, it consistently dials in a sweet spot of groove, sweep, and shimmer.

This circuit feels tuned to work with your gear, not against it. Autofilters are inherently sensitive to output levels and pickup configurations, but the Jerrytron’s interactive controls and dynamic sensitivity make it one of the easiest filters I’ve ever dialed in.

Every control on this box interacts beautifully, opening a vast sonic playground of textures, from fat, funky sweeps to glassy, shimmering peaks, to quacky and snappy highs.

  • Dry Blend: A 3-position switch that shapes your signal into something new—high-pass on the top, band-pass in the middle, and low-pass on the bottom. Each position colors your tone differently, changing how your instrument weaves through the mix.

  • Hi/Lo: Adjusts the frequency range of the sweep, from deep, low bass pulses to sharp, cutting high-end quack.

  • Range Toggle: Shifts where the filter sits—either starting low and sweeping high, or sitting high and diving into bassy growls.

  • Volume: Master output to tame the final signal level.

  • Gain: Controls how hot the signal hitting the filter is. Perfect for matching different pickups and output strengths—it can make a gentle sweep sing or a hot signal roar.

  • Peak: Sets the depth of the filter sweep. Turn it down for smooth, subtle movement or crank it for deep, resonant color that makes you feel like your guitar is being sent through a color prism.

  • Sweep: Works with the Range toggle to define where the sweep lives in the frequency spectrum.

if you want to dive into a swirling spiral of colorful, reality-bending filter sweeps that shift and shimmer like moonlight on water, look no further.

COLORS

Charcoal Blue- the toggle switches are not the low profile version, and sit decently close to the foot switch. Please be careful, no matter how good of quality toggle switches are, they are always still delicate.
