HM2 + FZ2 V1

Super old enclosures I boxed up while doing some spring cleaning, this is the V1 HM2 + FZ2

Both of these are iconic Boss circuits that were the defining sounds of some of the most important metal bands in history. This pedal is a tribute to the greatness of the sounds that come out of these circuits, however I felt that these two complimented each other greatly. They are nasty, but unique and do not sound alike.

The HM2 Side is a nasty, filthy, distortion with a its tone section being the most renown part. It borders on fuzz, you will not achieve a tight, chugging, clear tone as with other distortions. Instead, this circuit is the key to achieving that Swedish Chainsaw black metal tone. There are so many famous bands that used this circuit as their core sound, its not possible to list them all. A quick search will show just how iconic this circuit truly is.

The FZ2 side, is my favorite fuzz circuit that has ever been invented. What it is, is a Univox Super Fuzz, with a boost stage at the input, and a powerful active bass and treble tone control.

This circuit is the sound of one of the heaviest bands in the universe, Electric Wizard. This circuit can be clearly heard as the core sounds for 2 of their greatest albums, Dopethrone, and Come My Fanatics...

This circuit has some sort of magic to it. I am not sure how a fuzz can embody the deep mysteries, emptiness, vastness, and darkness of space, but it does just that.

This circuit is improved as well. In boost mode, you are able to use the EQ section which is not possible with the Behringer Super Fuzz. So, you can dial in a bass boost, a neutral boost, or a treble boost. On top of that, you can use the gain control as well, helping you dial in a clean or dirty boost.

The HM2 is going in series into the FZ2, so that way you can use the boost section to fatten up the HM2 tone. Both sides are independent, meaning you can use one without the other, or both together if you choose.
