This is the V2 Version- This pedal now has an external bias knob which helps dial in the saturation level of the transistors, and can assist in pushing the lower output vintage germaniums.
This circuit is a very strange but awesome JFET/Germanium hybrid boost.
It gets that warm germanium tone that people are always raving about, these are made with Ukrainian imported MP16 Germaniums.
It is tuned to be a full spectrum boost, and to also help boost bass frequencies.
Meaning it is designed with both bass and guitar in mind.
These two pedals feature soft touch, no click bypass for the ultimate switching experience.
There is an internal trimpot to tune the bias if you want more dirt out of this circuit. I have fine tuned this circuit to be a bit cleaner, but it can get gritty and slightly fuzzy with the adjustment of the trimpot.
