Black Russian + Bass Boost

This pedal is a Black Russian style big muff and a boost, that is able to be tweaked to be a top end boost, or a low end boost.

The muff side has 3 clipping options as well.

Silicon mode is your standard tried and true sound. It has that classic harsh edge that gives the texture everyone loves.

The Vintage mode allows for a lower output, smoothed out, compressed sound. I love this mode for when you need a cranked big muff, but need it to be about unity or slightly above unity volume.

Lastly, the middle position removes the clipping diodes, for a massive, amp pushing, open, loud and aggressive sound that is sure to peel paint off the walls. It will destroy everything in its path.

The muff also has a tone toggle that affects the middle to clockwise range of the tone control- it brings in some extra mids- or creates that classic mid cut sound.

The boost side is awesome as well- the boost adjusts the gain of the boost, all the way counter clockwise is unity gain, so it will not get silent at the minimum position. The low, adjusts the amount of frequency that is allowed into the circuit, counter clockwise sort of chokes the signal and shunts a lot of low end, giving an emphasis on the high end. Clockwise lets in the broadest range of frequencies- but emphasizes boosting the low end and giving the muff a much fuller sound.

Of course you can use either or independently. The boost adds an awesome overdrive like grit when used into a loud amp, or it can provide a really nice clean volume boost into a cleaner style amp.

Please note that the raw aluminum finish option is built fresh to order, and may feature different components as I use what I have in stock and each build uses hand selected components.

The circuit will be built in a raw aluminum case with no paint, but will get lightly sand polished.

It may take up to 10 days for me to build the pedal, but typically it will be anywhere from 3-5 days.
