INTRODUCTION.

I may make more but I am not sure.

this metal stamped enclosure with a sort of warn emphasis has to be one of my favorite pieces I have ever done.

a compressor. sort of the antithesis of the mysterious stranger.

this one is far more studio, linear oriented than the mysterious stranger. More predictable and with controls that are more intuitive and more isolated from one another, in the sense that the controls of one parameter do not quite interact with another knob the same way it does on the mysterious stranger.

this unit is a mixture of op amp and jfet technologies.

how would i describe this sound in words

I love how this pedal can be used as a beautiful boost with no compression. I love how it can be subtle with the compression or really squashy, and that you can dial it to activate with light pick attack or heavy pick attack.

it is very low noise and high fidelity for a guitar pedal.

the controls

metal stamped single letters.

v- volume. active, meaning it can cut or boost.

b-blend. controls the clean to compression ratio.

c-compression. also works as a signal boost.

r- release. sets how long the compression is held before releasing

t- tone, either dark and bass oriented, or brighter and sparkly with a good middle ground tone in the middle.

a- attack, sets the signal threshold needed to start activating the compression.
