the sf is both a tribute to San Francisco, and the Super Fuzz vintage octave fuzz circuit.
this is the predecessor of my favorite octave fuzz in existence, the boss fz2. This one being fully transistor, it has a much more vintage like fuzz nature than the fz2. very pronounced and deep, complex harmonic structure here.
