Across the 5 different PCBs I have so far designed for this circuit, I believe it just is inherently a touch noisy in the background. I am thinking about making this bypassable or engageable via a toggle switch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExperimenting with rebiasing the stages for 3x the input voltage internally. 9-15v input compatible. Honestly, I get the most joy boosting the lows, post, and pre. Texture to taste, treb fairly cut. Toggle set to huge.
