The addition of an additional octave up stage, cascading into the \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eSuper Fuzz-style octave\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e of the FZ2.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eTurn the octave toggle on, and the signal channels through \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003etwo octave-up stages\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, slamming into each other like cosmic thunderbolts. The result? It does not overpower your signal, but has just the right amount of texture to create an immaculate, watery feeling to your sound. Mine also has an active volume control- meaning it can cut or boost volume. 4 stage on mine can be a bit subtle below middle depth positions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vintage unit, was like psychedelic syrup. It did not like to be nearly as subtle. It did tend to overpower the guitar sound a bit- it was very in your face and thick, and I would say it did more tone coloring than the twilight vibe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI still will end up redoing the entire twilight vibe circuit board.
